Terms and refunds

Last updated 7 October 2026 · Privacy policy, pricing and the refund policy are separate pages.

Alpenrise is made by BRAVO CONSULTING LIMITED, a New Zealand company. These terms cover alpenrise.app and the plans sold there.

What is free

The mountain, the placement test and ten questions a night are free for everyone, without an account, for as long as the site exists. We do not move things from the free side to the paid side.

What Pro is

Pro is for seeing clearly and going further, for every child linked to your account. For you: the full parent panel — which kind of slip costs the marks, and the accuracy trend — and where the marks went on each Sunday page. For your child: practice sets, sprints, trap questions, the kit, the exam routes (Cambridge IGCSE Mathematics 0580 and IB Mathematics: Analysis and Approaches SL), and a mountain that draws from the whole question bank so lanterns do not repeat. Daily amounts are generous but not unlimited. New rungs and routes we add later are included.

Plans and renewals

Trial

Each child gets one free trial: 14 nights of Pro without entering a card (21 nights if you signed up with a rope-team code from another family), counted from the night that child is first linked to a parent account. It happens once per child: a second parent, or a new account or email, linking the same child shares that child's trial rather than starting another. When the trial ends you drop back to the free side; nothing is charged and nothing is lost.

Refunds

Thirty days, no questions asked. Ask within 30 days of any payment and we refund it in full. Email [email protected]. After 30 days, monthly and annual plans are simply cancelled rather than refunded. The full refund policy has the details. A refund ends the plan it paid for: a refunded subscription is cancelled at once, and a refunded lifetime or founding family plan ends too. You drop back to the free side, and your child keeps their progress.

Who sells, and who processes the payment

Alpenrise is sold by Bravo Consulting Limited, a New Zealand company. Payments are processed by Stripe: you pay on Stripe’s secure checkout page, and we never see or store your card details. Prices are in US dollars (New Zealand dollars for customers in New Zealand) and include any sales tax, GST or VAT that applies. Questions about an order, a receipt or a refund come to us at [email protected], and a person answers.

Accounts

Accounts are for adults. A child never has one: the mountain works without signing in, and a parent links it from their own account. You can delete your account at any time from the account page; that removes your email, your sessions, and any child record no other parent is linked to.

Fair use

Pro is for the children in one household. Sharing an account across households, or using the service to copy the question bank, is not what it is for, and we may end such accounts with a refund of any unused period.

Changes

If we change these terms we will say so on this page with a new date, and for anything that affects a running plan we will email you first. The free side does not get smaller.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of New Zealand. Nothing here removes rights you have under the consumer law of the country you live in.

Questions before you pay? Write to [email protected]. A person answers.
