Spelling: the words most often misspelt at each year level, the patterns behind them, and the New Zealand and British spellings the exams expect.
Every camp on the mountain has the same eight rungs: the eight altitudes Alpenrise measures, read back in the words of your own school system. Rung 1 is the bottom of secondary school; rung 8 is beyond the final exam.

The mountain draws three questions per rung from the same slice as the free placement. Here is one from each rung of Spelling, shown without its answer.
Ready to climb? Open the Spelling camp on the mountain, or take the free placement first to see which rung your child stands on today. Both run in the browser, with no sign-up.
